  5. Leather shoes: if you have skin shoes marked and scratched by use, apply a drop of vegetable oil to a cloth and rub on the leather shoes until the marks disappear. Then pull the shine with a dry, soft cloth. 

  6. Painted hands: one of the easiest and most ecological ways to remove paint from your hands is to rub them with a little vegetable oil before washing with soap.
