On Earth Day, what can you do to save your planet?

Since 1970, Earth Day is celebrated on April 22. Increasing ecological consciousness worldwide, this event became global. More than 1 billion people from 192 countries cheer Earth. Our home no longer can be harmed due to human greed! Let's fight for our planet causes! Will you join this team?

First of all, we shall demand more effectiveness from countries in order to diminish Earth's unnatural disasters, i.e. caused by mankind!

There are millions of living species in Earth's nature - as well as billions of souls -, not to mention species yet to be discovered! Our planet is facing the highest extinction rate of all eras!

Why mass extinction is happening nowadays more than ever?

In other words, unprecedented global destruction followed by a rapid reduction of the population of rare plants are directly related to causes driven by human activity. These impacts are generated by human greed and selfishness! It has to be stopped!

"The point is to reinforce the goals of those who are already engaged in several different goals aiming Earth's salvation!"

Many living beings, whether from fauna or flora, have their own weight in the perfect balance of nature. So everyone plays an important role in this complex web of life.

We must work together to protect endangered species!

If we don't act as soon as possible, extinction can "go viral"! And there's no turning back!

On the other hand, there is hope in the air! Earth Day reminds us that we can save it right now!

Just follow Earth helper's Agenda, according to the following MUST DO:

  • Educate and sensitize people about how fast millions of species are in a process of extinction, as well as the causes and consequences of this phenomenon.

  • Join political campaigns and ecological causes, embracing new anti-hunting support laws, protecting groups of species, as well as people and their habitats.

  • Build and spread global movements that embrace nature and its causes.

  • Encourage people and companies (like Greenco does), such as adopting an animal, cruelty-free movements, planting a tree, upcycling, recycling processes as well as to fighting for a diet without pesticides and so on.

  • Promote campaigns against the pollution of rivers and oceans, which poison and hurt marine life, because of the extreme number of plastics that also pollute the streets of cities, causing floods and other tragedies that can be avoided.

  • Plant as many trees as you can, always respecting local rules. The more trees, the purer the air, the more stable the temperature and the less climate change. Simple as that!

  • Share educational resources with parents and teachers, with examples and tips that Earth Day may suggest to us. Didactic material on various topics related to the environment can be donated and disseminated as well.

  • Take effective steps to reduce your carbon footprint. Disclosing emblematic messages about ecology, through custom t-shirts, is another good measure to share your thinking.

  • Raise legal money, via crowdfunding and other means, to support the work of those who are already engaged in the cause. Creativity is the key-word on this issue!

  • Register on specialized websites that rubs ecologic causes. Make Earth Day a motivator in the fight for animal rights and the preservation of nature, at all levels.

  • Join the Earth Day Network campaigns and (@earthdaynetwork) to get the latest version of the mission and what's going on for the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Earth Day in 2020!

So let us join this team, supporting the following UN motto:

International Mother Earth Day is celebrated to remind each of us that the Earth and its ecosystems provide us with life and sustenance. This Day also recognizes a collective responsibility, as called for in the 1992 Rio Declaration, to promote harmony with nature and the Earth, to achieve a just balance among the economic, social and environmental needs of present and future generations of humanity.
